Social Media Content Creator- Part Time

Job Description:
Ascend Construction is looking for a part-time Social Media Content Creator to capture engaging photo and video content of our team, projects, and day-to-day work in the field and at the shop.

This role is not responsible for editing content, posting on social media, or managing accounts. The focus is simply to gather strong, interesting raw content that showcases our work, our people, and our company culture, then send it to our social media marketing team.

This is also not a daily position. We are looking for someone to come out one day per week to capture enough content for the week, rather than working on a fixed daily schedule.

What You’ll Do:

• Visit job sites and our shop approximately once per week to capture photos and videos
• Gather enough engaging content during that visit to provide a week’s worth of raw material for our marketing team
• Take photos and short videos of insulation work in progress, finished results, team members, equipment, and behind-the-scenes moments
• Look for content that is visually interesting and likely to perform well on social media
• Organize and send raw photo/video files to our social media marketing team
• Coordinate with our team on which jobs, projects, or crew moments to capture

What This Role Is Not:

• No video editing required
• No graphic design required
• No social media posting required
• No account management required
• No daily on-site schedule required

What We’re Looking For:

• Good eye for interesting and engaging content
• Comfortable taking photos and short-form video on a phone or camera
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
• Comfortable visiting active construction job sites and interacting with our crew
• Able to capture authentic moments without disrupting workflow
• Experience creating content for social media is a plus, but not required

Ideal Candidate:
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys content creation, photography, or videography and wants a simple, flexible part-time role focused only on capturing raw content — not editing or managing social media.

Schedule:

• Flexible
• Approximately 5 hours per week
• Typically one on-site visit per week to capture content for the upcoming week
• No daily schedule required
