Social Media & Content Lead

SALT Nutrition is currently an early-stage startup! Please note that this is not a traditional hourly or salaried W-2 job. Your pay is based entirely on performance, tied directly to store net profits through automated profit-sharing. We do not require a rigid 9-to-5 schedule; we care about results. You manage your own time. We don't micromanage your hours, but we expect timely communication and relentless execution. Handle your business, get the job done, and we’re good.

About the Role

We are hiring a Founding Social Media & Content Lead. You are the digital voice and face of our brand across the internet. Your job goes far beyond just editing video clips—you completely own SALT Nutrition's social media presence across all platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, etc.). You will manage the posting schedules, write the captions, engage with the community in the comments, and ensure that every single piece of short-form or long-form content perfectly captures our Matthew 5:13 mission.

Who You Will Work With

  • The Co-Founders: To collaborate on overarching content strategy, brand tone, and to review high-level campaign ideas.
  • Creator Network Lead: To repurpose, clip, and feature high-performing content generated by our signed brand ambassadors on the main company pages.
  • Brand Designer: To get custom graphics, thumbnails, profile layouts, and font packages so all channels look unified and premium.

Your Core Duties

  • Social Media Management: Fully manage and run the brand's official accounts on all social platforms. You are responsible for scheduling posts, writing clean, impactful copy/captions, and optimizing bio links.
  • Video Editing & Creation: Take raw brand footage, community highlights, and ambassador clips and turn them into highly engaging, sharp short-form videos (TikToks, Reels, Shorts) every week.
  • Audience Engagement: Own the comment sections and direct messages. Respond to our community like a real human being, building genuine relationships with viewers who align with our message.
  • Platform Optimization: Stay ahead of the algorithms. Track what formats, trends, or audio styles are performing well, and format all video and text assets correctly for each specific platform to maximize our reach.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Platform Fluent: You live and breathe social media. You know exactly how TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube operate behind the scenes to push content out to new eyes.
  • Grounded Creative: You can edit clean, crisp videos using software like Premiere or CapCut, and you know how to write simple, honest captions without sounding like a typical marketing robot.
  • Self-Motivated: You work exceptionally well on your own. Your pay is contractually tied to the profit health of the store, meaning your drive to build a massive, engaged audience that converts into buyers dictates your upside.
  • Mission-Alignment: You possess a deep respect for the Matthew 5:13 mission of SALT Nutrition. You understand what it means to work with discipline, preserve true quality, and bring real substance to the digital space.

Your Pay Structure

  • The Profit Share: This is a contractual independent contractor position. You receive a 5% cut of all Storewide Net Profit. As the social platforms you build draw eyes and convert followers into customers across the country, your monthly payout scales directly with the brand's success.

This role carries no corporate equity or company stock; your upside is a direct reflection of performance and volume execution.
