About the Role

Marketplace Insurance Exchange is looking for a creative, hands-on Social Media & Content Specialist to manage our social media presence and bring our brand to life online.

This is a content-first role focused on creating engaging videos, capturing office culture, and keeping our social media vibrant and consistent. You will also provide basic tech support for the office and help coordinate with our remote IT team.

What You’ll Do

Social Media & Content Creation

• Plan, create, and publish content across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn
• Produce short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) and occasional long-form content
• Capture real office moments, team culture, and insurance-related content in an engaging way
• Stay on top of social media trends and adapt them to fit our brand
• Record and edit videos using tools like CapCut, Canva, or similar
• Help team members feel comfortable on camera and guide them during content shoots
• Maintain a consistent posting schedule and organized content calendar
• Monitor basic performance metrics (views, engagement) and adjust content accordingly

Brand Support

• Own and reinforce our brand identity across all digital touchpoints
• Contribute ideas to strengthen brand messaging, visuals, and tone online
• Ensure that all content reflects company values and resonates with our audience

Basic Tech Support

• Provide first-level troubleshooting for computers, printers, and basic software issues
• Assist with setting up laptops, workstations, and office devices
• Help with Wi-Fi connectivity and peripheral setup
• Coordinate and communicate issues with the remote IT team
• Maintain a simple inventory of office tech equipment

Qualifications

• Experience managing social media accounts for a business or personal brand
• Strong video recording and editing skills
• Comfortable being on camera and directing others
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks
• Basic technical skills (device setup, troubleshooting, etc.)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (strongly preferred)

Nice to Have

• A great eye for creative and storytelling
• Visual design skills
• Experience with AI content tools (CapCut AI, Canva, ChatGPT), content creation for service businesses, or fast-paced work environments.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
