We are seeking a creative and dedicated Social Media Executive to manage our brand's presence across multiple social media platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for social media, excellent communication skills, and a strategic mindset for building and engaging online communities. Key responsibilities
- Content creation and management: Develop and publish high-quality, engaging, and creative content, including posts, images, and videos, that aligns with the brand's voice and marketing goals. Maintain and execute a comprehensive content calendar.
- Community engagement: Monitor social media channels for comments, mentions, and messages, responding in a timely and professional manner. Foster a positive community by engaging with followers and encouraging user-generated content.
- Campaign execution: Collaborate with marketing and design teams to execute social media campaigns and support broader marketing initiatives. Assist with or manage paid social media advertising campaigns.
- Performance analysis: Track and analyse social media metrics such as engagement rate, reach, and follower growth using native analytics and social media management tools. Prepare regular performance reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Trend monitoring: Stay informed on the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices. Proactively suggest new ideas and innovative ways to enhance the company's online presence.
- Collaboration: Work with other departments, such as public relations or customer support, to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
Qualifications and requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- 1–3 years of proven experience managing social media accounts, preferably for a brand or organisation.
- Deep familiarity with all major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and experience with scheduling tools like Hoot suite or Buffer.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
- Ability to think creatively and produce engaging content.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva are a plus.
