Job Title: Social Media Coordinator

General Function:
The Hy-Vee Corporate Social Media team is seeking a dynamic social media professional that is detail-oriented and ambitious to help coordinate, execute and report on organic social media efforts, across multiple channels: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest. Ideal candidates are fast learners, independent problem solvers and possess the ability to quickly pivot while representing the Hy-Vee brand.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with content production and project management coordination as needed.

Monitor and share emerging social media, platform, industry and competitor trends.

Support internal and external education of social media best practices and governance regulations.

Identify user-generated content, and track approvals and usage.

Assist with creating training and process documents.

Help with reporting and data analytics for monthly and campaign reporting.

Build social media campaign briefs and support content production coordination.

Research and ideate audience and platform-specific content ideas.

Assist with monthly organic Pinterest campaigns.

Assist with publishing platform maintenance including data and dashboard clean up and organization.

Assist with scheduling posts and native publishing as needed.

Help with coordination and day-to-day communication with agency partners and internal teams.

Performs other job-related duties and special projects as required.
Education and Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Social Media, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or related field.

1-3 years previous related work experience preferred.

Understanding of social media platforms is required.

Experience working in a social media management system.
-
Experience working in Meta Business Suite.

Experience working with project management software.

Visual requirements include ability to see detail at near range with or without correction.

Must be physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; exert up to 10 pounds of force to move objects as well as perform sedentary work.

The duties for this position are conducted in a general office environment in a hybrid capacity. There is frequent pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.
