SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly creative and strategic Social Media Manager to oversee social media accounts for our clients based Malaysia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and monitoring social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy & Planning

Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with clients’ brand goals.

Research industry trends, competitors, and audience insights to optimize content and engagement.

Set KPIs for growth, engagement, and conversions, and ensure continuous improvement.

Content Creation & Management

Create high-quality, engaging, and relevant content (graphics, captions, videos, reels, stories) tailored to each platform (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).

Oversee content calendars, ensuring timely and consistent posting across all channels.

Collaborate with graphic designers, videographers, and copywriters for visually appealing and on-brand content.

Write compelling, conversion-driven captions with a clear brand voice.

Community Management & Engagement

Actively monitor, respond to, and engage with followers, comments, messages, and mentions.

Build and nurture online communities, fostering brand loyalty and trust.

Manage crisis communication and escalate potential PR issues when necessary.

Advertising & Paid Campaigns

Plan and execute paid social media campaigns on Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and YouTube Ads.

Optimize ad performance through A/B testing, audience targeting, and budget management.

Track ROI, prepare reports, and provide data-driven recommendations for campaign improvements.

Influencer & Partnership Management

Identify, collaborate, and manage relationships with relevant influencers and brand ambassadors.

Oversee influencer campaigns, ensuring brand consistency and goal alignment.

Negotiate contracts and track performance metrics for influencer partnerships.

Analytics & Reporting

Track social media performance using analytics tools like Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and other third-party tools.

Provide monthly reports with insights, trends, and actionable strategies for improvement.

Analyze competitors’ performance to refine strategies.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, preferably handling brands in multi sector.

Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, and the social media landscape.

Expertise in content creation, scheduling tools and paid advertising.

Knowledge of social media algorithms, trends, and best practices.

Excellent writing skills (English).

Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the automotive, fashion, retail, e-commerce, or education industry is a plus.

Video editing and graphic design skills are an added advantage.

Familiarity with SEO and website traffic metrics.
