Social Media Manager

Purpose of the Role

The Social Media Manager will develop, lead, and execute the group’s digital strategy, ensuring all venues have strong and consistent visibility across Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and other relevant platforms. This role oversees digital campaigns, influencer marketing, and content planning, while also briefing and coordinating with design and creative teams to deliver high-quality visuals that align with campaign objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Strategy Development

- Create and implement comprehensive social media strategies for all venues, aligned with the group’s marketing calendar.
- Define digital objectives per campaign (awareness, engagement, conversion, retention).
- Identify key content pillars and tailor them per platform (Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat).
- Ensure integration of social media with PR, activations, and overall marketing campaigns.

2. Content Planning & Creative Briefing

- Translate campaign concepts into digital content plans for each venue.
- Develop and coordinate moodboards for stories, reels, TikTok trends, and visual campaigns.
- Prepare and deliver briefs for design teams (stories, carousels, reels, video edits) ensuring brand tone and consistency.
- Guide production of interactive formats (polls, quizzes, AR filters, trending sounds).

3. Influencer Marketing

- Build and manage influencer strategies for launches, events, and seasonal campaigns.
- Select, brief, and coordinate influencers, ensuring alignment with campaign messaging.
- Provide influencers with required content guidelines (hashtags, captions, key visuals).
- Track deliverables and measure ROI on influencer collaborations.

4. Content Production Oversight

- Supervise content shoots (photo & video), ensuring output fits campaign needs.
- Collaborate with Assistant Marketing Manager and Creative team for visual storytelling.
- Maintain a content library per venue (UGC, professional shoots, daily visuals).
- Ensure each campaign has the right mix of digital assets: reels, stories, posts, paid ads.

5. Analytics & Optimisation

- Monitor KPIs: reach, engagement, follower growth, conversions, and ROI.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and market analysis.
- Prepare monthly digital performance reports with clear recommendations.
- Continuously test new formats, features, and trends to improve performance.

6. Team Leadership & Collaboration

- Supervise and mentor the Content & Social Media Executive.
- Collaborate with Sales & Marketing Assistant for influencer logistics.
- Work closely with Creative/Design team to ensure campaigns are visually aligned.
- Act as the digital lead in cross-functional marketing campaigns.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Expertise in Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat (organic + paid strategy).
- Strong knowledge of influencer marketing and community management.
- Ability to brief and guide design/creative teams effectively.
- Excellent project management and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Analytical mindset with experience using social media analytics tools.
- Creative thinking with an eye for storytelling and aesthetics.

Qualifications & Experience

- 4–6 years of experience in social media or digital marketing (F&B or hospitality preferred).
- Proven experience creating and implementing digital strategies.
- Track record of managing influencer campaigns with measurable results.
- Strong portfolio of successful digital campaigns.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, Meta Business Suite, and analytics platforms.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Growth in followers, reach, and engagement per platform.
- Timely delivery of digital campaign assets and content plans.
- ROI and quality of influencer collaborations.
- Consistency of content calendars across all venues.
- Improvement in campaign performance quarter over quarter.
