The Role
As our Social Media Manager, you will be the voice, ears, and creative force behind our brand across all social media channels. You will be responsible for developing and executing a results-driven social media strategy that increases brand awareness, engages our community, and drives meaningful business results. You are a data-driven storyteller who is equally comfortable crafting a witty caption and analyzing performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning:
- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms like [e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube].
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and set clear goals for growth, engagement, and conversion.
- Conduct audience research and stay ahead of social media trends, tools, and algorithm changes.
- Manage the social media content calendar, ensuring a consistent and timely flow of content.
Content Creation & Community Management:
- Create, curate, and publish engaging, original content (including graphics, video, and written copy) that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with our target audience.
- Manage day-to-day community engagement: respond to comments and messages, foster conversations, and build strong relationships with followers and influencers.
- Proactively monitor social channels for brand mentions and industry trends.
Advertising & Analytics:
- Plan and execute paid social media advertising campaigns to achieve specific objectives like lead generation, website traffic, and sales.
- Track, measure, and analyze the performance of all social media activities using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and native platform insights.
- Provide regular reports on campaign performance, translating data into actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
Collaboration & Brand Advocacy:
- Work closely with the marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure a cohesive brand message across all channels.
- Manage relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors to expand our reach.
- Uphold and evolve our brand's visual identity and tone of voice across all social touchpoints.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager, Social Media Specialist, or similar role.
- A portfolio of successful social media campaigns and a strong track record of growing an engaged community.
- Excellent knowledge of all major social media platforms, including their best practices and advertising tools.
- Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Final Cut Pro).
- Strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills with an impeccable eye for detail.
- Solid understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred (Nice-to-Haves):
- Experience with social media management and listening tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer, Brandwatch).
- Basic knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics.
- Experience with photography or videography.
- Experience in the healthcare industry.
