Role Description – Social Media Manager (LinkedIn & Content Creation)

This is a full-time on-site position based at our Ümraniye – Buyaka, Istanbul office.

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s digital presence—primarily on LinkedIn —and producing content for other social-media platforms as needed.

The main objective of the role is to enhance brand visibility by creating creative, professional, and visually strong content that reflects the company’s maritime expertise and activities.

In this capacity, the Social Media Manager will work closely with the commercial and management teams to effectively share our fleet operations, project achievements, and industry insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a  LinkedIn content calendar , manage posting schedules, and ensure regular, high-quality updates.
• Produce written, visual, or short-video content covering vessel operations, project cargoes, and industry developments.
• Ensure all posts are accurate, professional, and compliant with internal approval procedures.
• Monitor and analyze post performance to optimize engagement and visibility.
• Research maritime-industry trends and topics to generate new content ideas.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across all digital channels.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather updates, visuals, and success stories.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in  Social Media Management  or  Content Creation  (LinkedIn experience is a strong advantage).
• Excellent written communication skills and a good sense of visual design.
• Proficiency with tools such as  Canva ,  Figma , or  Adobe Creative Suite .
• Strong attention to detail, with an organized and results-oriented work style.
• Basic knowledge of  analytics and performance reporting .
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field preferred.
• Candidates with an interest in the  maritime industry  and a willingness to learn are highly encouraged to apply.
