Position Purpose:

The Social Media Manager (SMM) will strategize, create, and execute social media campaigns across multiple platforms for diverse clients. This role requires balancing creative storytelling, brand consistency, performance-driven metrics, and trend awareness.

Education & Professional Qualification:

  • Degree(s)/Major(s): Bachelor's or Master's in a relevant field from a reputed local/foreign University
  • Certification(s): Not mandatory, but certification in social media management is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of proven working experience in a related field.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Planning: Audit & Strategy: Conduct deep-dive audits of client social presence and develop data-backed social media strategies.
  • Campaign Management: Design and execute integrated social campaigns for product launches, events, or brand awareness.
  • Content Pillars: Define and maintain "content pillars" for each client to ensure brand consistency and variety.
  • Platform Expertise: Determine the optimal mix of platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, etc.) based on client goals.
  • Content Creation & Curation:Creative Direction: Collaborate with graphic designers and videographers to produce high-quality assets (Reels, Carousels, Stories).
  • Copywriting: Craft compelling, platform-specific captions that reflect the unique "voice" of each client.
  • Trend Spotting: Rapidly adapt viral trends, audio, and memes to fit client niches without compromising brand integrity.
  • Community&Growth: Engagement Manage daily community interactions, responding to comments, DMs, and mentions to foster brand loyalty.
  • Influencer Outreach: Identify and coordinate partnerships with influencers and brand ambassadors.
  • Proactive Outreach: Engage with potential customers and industry leaders on behalf of the client to increase visibility.
  • Analytics & Reporting:Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs, including reach, engagement rate, CTR, and conversion metrics.
  • Monthly Reporting: Prepare and present professional reports to clients, translating complex data into "so-what" insights and actionable next steps.
  • A/B Testing: Continuously test posting times, formats, and messaging to optimize performance.
  • Identify and engage with influencers, brand advocates, and relevant online communities.
  • Paid Campaigns & Analytics:Plan, execute, and optimize social media ad campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X (Twitter).
  • Provide monthly performance reports and actionable insights to clients and internal teams.
  • Trend & Platform Expertise: Stay updated on algorithm changes, trending formats, platform features, and best practices.
  • Collaboration & Client Management: Communicate effectively with clients to understand goals, brand voice, and campaign requirements.
  • Coordinate with account managers, creative teams, and marketing specialists to ensure integrated campaigns.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3+ years managing professional social media accounts (Agency experience highly preferred).
  • Proven ability to manage 25+ brands across diverse industries while maintaining quality and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling tools and native platform managers (Meta Suite, LinkedIn, X).
  • Technical Tools: Proficiency in scheduling tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Loomly, Hootsuite) and design basics (Canva, Adobe Express).
  • Analytical Mindset: Comfortable using platform analytics and Google Analytics to track ROI.
  • Adaptability: Ability to switch "voices" quickly between a B2B tech firm and a B2C lifestyle brand.
  • Organization: Expert-level project management skills to handle 5–10+ clients simultaneously without missing a post.
  • Analytics platforms: Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics.
  • Basic graphic/video tools: Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro.
  • Analytical mindset with a results-driven approach
  • Time management and the ability to multitask across multiple clients
  • Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of SEO, content marketing, and digital advertising.
  • Knowledge of brand strategy and voice development.
  • Excellent written and spoken English with strong communication and client-facing skills if needed.
  • Ability to track KPIs and report on social media performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of reputation management and evolving digital trends.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles for social content visibility.
  • Capable of independent work while collaborating across design, client success, and marketing teams.
  • Adaptability to changing algorithms, new tools, and emerging digital best practices.
  • Strong multitasking skills; proactive and deadline-driven approach to project delivery.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to propose and lead new digital initiatives.
