Social Media Manager and Content Creator

Forever Wildland Fest is looking for a Social Media Manager / Content Creator to help grow the online presence of an independent punk/hardcore festival rooted in the wildland firefighter community.

We’re looking for someone creative who understands music culture, rollout strategy, and short-form content. Main responsibilities would include:

• Creating reels/posts/promotional content over our Socials
• Helping grow followers and engagement
• Assisting with announcement rollouts
• Capturing and editing content
• Helping shape the overall visual identity of the fest online
• Brainstorming creative ideas for audience growth and engagement

Experience with Instagram, TikTok, Adobe Suite/CapCut, photography/video editing, or music/event marketing is preferred.

This role is currently flexible/independent-contractor style as we continue building the fest and securing sponsorship support.

The pay listed on Indeed is there because the platform required a number, but compensation structure can be discussed further during the hiring process depending on experience, workload, and overall fit.

• Los Angeles — Nov 6–7
• San Francisco — Nov 14

We’re looking for someone who genuinely understands underground music culture and wants to help build something long-term while keeping it independent.

Pay: $47,371.23 - $57,049.23 per year
