Social Media Manager and Content Creator

Job Overview
Halo Productions is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to elevate our digital presence and position our brand as a leader in luxury event production, audiovisual experiences, and lighting design.

This role will be responsible for developing and executing a cohesive social media strategy that showcases Halo's work through high-end visual storytelling. Our social media platforms—especially Instagram—serve as a portfolio for prospective clients, event planners, venues, and partners. The ideal candidate understands luxury branding, has a strong visual eye, and can transform event content into engaging, polished, and professional social media experiences.

The Social Media Manager will work closely with our leadership team, photographers, videographers, and event staff to capture the essence of our projects and communicate the quality, creativity, and attention to detail that define the Halo brand.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a social media strategy aligned with Halo's brand and business goals.
  • Manage Halo's social media platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other relevant channels.
  • Curate and maintain a luxury-focused Instagram feed that serves as a visual portfolio of Halo's work.
  • Plan, schedule, and publish content according to a content calendar.
  • Create engaging captions, stories, reels, and posts that reflect Halo's brand voice.
  • Coordinate with photographers and videographers to ensure content aligns with brand standards.
  • Review, organize, and select photo and video content for publication.
  • Capture behind-the-scenes content at select events when needed.
  • Monitor social media engagement and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
  • Track performance metrics and provide recommendations for growth and engagement.
  • Research industry trends, competitors, and emerging social media opportunities.
  • Identify and develop content opportunities that highlight Halo's events, lighting designs, AV installations, and client experiences.

Skills

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for luxury brands, events, hospitality, design, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and social media best practices.
  • Excellent visual storytelling skills and a strong eye for design and aesthetics.
  • Experience creating and managing content calendars.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to transform event photography and videography into compelling social media content.
  • Proficiency with social media analytics tools.
  • Experience with content creation and editing platforms such as Canva, CapCut, or similar software.
  • Ability to maintain a cohesive and premium brand image.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Knowledge of current social media trends, reels, and short-form video content.

Preferred

  • Experience working with audiovisual (AV), lighting, event production, live events, hospitality, or related creative service companies.
  • Familiarity with luxury event brands and high-end client-facing businesses.
  • Experience collaborating with photographers, videographers, designers, and other creative professionals.
  • Understanding of how to showcase technical services and event experiences through visual storytelling.

Pay: $35.00 - $60.00 per hour
