Overview
We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Marketing Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our digital platforms & to our restaurant. You will work closely with all restaurant staff to create social media content amongst Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and our website.
Duties
- Develop and implement effective social media marketing strategies across various platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok & Website.
- Create compelling content that resonates with target audiences, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
- Conduct keyword research and optimize content for SEO to improve organic reach.
- Utilize tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and Google Analytics to manage social media accounts and analyze performance metrics.
- Engage in social listening to monitor brand mentions and industry conversations, responding appropriately to foster community engagement.
- Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
- Manage advertising campaigns on Facebook and other platforms to maximize reach and engagement.
- Assist in graphic design tasks using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for social media posts and promotional materials.
- Conduct proofreading of all content before publication to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Stay updated on digital marketing trends and best practices to continually enhance our social media presence.
- Marketing outreach to the local community by going out to different businesses to promote our restaurant.
Skills
- Proficient in social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and Google Analytics.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and keyword research techniques.
- Experience in graphic design using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
- Knowledge of public relations strategies and relationship management skills.
- Ability to create engaging content tailored for different platforms including e-commerce sites.
- Familiarity with video editing software for creating dynamic video content.
- Excellent proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail in branding consistency.
- Strong photography skills for capturing high-quality images for social media use.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.20 - $26.73 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
