Social Media Specialist

Job Title: Social Media Specialist (Tech & Growth Focused)

Experience: 3-4 Years (Software / IT / B2B preferred)

Location: Lahore (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Social Media Specialist with a strong understanding of software services, digital marketing fundamentals, and growth-oriented content execution. This role is designed for someone who can independently manage day-to-day social media execution while collaborating closely with HR, Sales, SEO, and Marketing teams.

The role requires a technical mindset, competitor awareness, and the ability to convert internal activities, client engagements, and company culture into structured, high-impact content that supports employer branding, client trust, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Execution & Content Management

● Execute day-to-day social media activities across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, and

other relevant platforms.

● Publish content according to approved weekly and monthly content calendars.

● Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and positioning aligned with company brand

and services.

● Repurpose content across platforms while maintaining relevance and quality.

2. Employer Branding & HR Collaboration

● Work closely with the HR team to support job postings, hiring campaigns, and employer

branding initiatives.

● Create content highlighting company culture, internal events, team achievements, and

training sessions.

● Support initiatives related to cultural excellence and internal engagement.

3. Client-Focused & Sales-Aligned Marketing

● Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to capture client success stories, case studies,

and service highlights.

● Convert client-related information into professional, trust-building social media content.

● Support sales enablement by strengthening brand authority through consistent

messaging.

4. Competitor & Market Monitoring

● Monitor competitors and relevant software companies on social media.

● Track content themes, posting frequency, formats, and engagement patterns.

● Share insights and improvement suggestions with the marketing team.

5. SEO & Marketing Collaboration

● Coordinate with the SEO team to align social media content with priority keywords and

blogs.

● Support traffic growth from social platforms to the website.

● Maintain a basic understanding of how social media contributes to SEO and digital

visibility.

6. Events & Internal Activities Coverage

● Participate in internal events, training sessions, job fairs, and selected external events.

● Capture and publish event-related content to strengthen brand presence.

7. Reporting & Optimization

● Track performance using native platform analytics and reporting tools.

● Prepare weekly and monthly performance summaries.

● Continuously optimize content strategy based on performance data.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Growth & Visibility

● LinkedIn follower growth: 5–8% month-over-month

● Overall social impressions growth: 10–15% month-over-month

● Net positive follower growth every month

Execution & Consistency

● LinkedIn: 5–7 posts per week

● Other platforms: 2–3 posts per week

● 100% adherence to approved content calendar

● Minimum 2 hiring or employer branding posts per week

● Minimum 4 client-oriented posts per month

● At least 1 case study or client story per month

● Contribution to 2–5 warm inbound inquiries per month

Required Skills & Qualifications

● 3-4 years of hands-on experience in social media or digital marketing.

● Experience with a software company, IT services firm, or B2B environment preferred.

● Strong understanding of social platforms, content execution, and analytics.

● Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing fundamentals.

● Ability to collaborate with HR, sales, and technical teams.

● Strong written communication and content judgment.

● Exposure to Google Ads or paid marketing is a plus.

Performance Evaluation

● High Performer: 80%+ KPI achievement for 3 consecutive months

● Acceptable Performer: 65–79% KPI achievement with visible improvement

● Underperformance: Below 65% KPI achievement for 2 consecutive months
