Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Software House Manager to oversee daily operations, manage teams, and ensure the successful delivery of software projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, project management, and business development skills, with the ability to align technical teams with company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end operations of the software house
- Manage development, QA, design, and support teams
- Plan, execute, and deliver software projects on time and within budget
- Coordinate with clients to gather requirements and provide progress updates
- Ensure quality standards, best practices, and coding guidelines are followed
- Monitor team performance and productivity
- Define workflows, KPIs, and SOPs
- Manage project timelines, resources, and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on proposals and client onboarding
- Handle hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensure data security, compliance, and confidentiality standards
- Identify growth opportunities and improve operational efficiency
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in software development or IT management
- Proven experience managing software development teams
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Experience with Agile / Scrum / Waterfall methodologies
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Client handling and stakeholder management experience
- Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana, ClickUp, etc.)
- Budgeting and resource planning experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing a software house or IT services company
- Technical background in web, mobile, or enterprise software development
- Exposure to international clients
- Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps practices
- PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications (a plus)
