Software Presales Engineer

Job description

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Pre-Sales Engineer who is passionate about technology and has the skills and knowledge to support our sales team in pitching and demonstrating our products to potential clients.

Role Description:

• Developing technical proposals ensuring compliance with technical aspects and reviewing overall proposals for consistency before submission.
• Analyze and respond to RFP, RFI , or RFQ documents received from clients.
• Analyze and design solutions, translating client business requirements into technical solutions in the digital domain.
• Recommend technologies to meet customers' business requirements effectively.
• Handle requirements gathering sessions with clients to analyze existing processes, identify desired future states, and define deliverables.
• Negotiating conflicts with stakeholders, consolidating agreed actions, and documenting final decisions.
• Acting as the primary technical contact with clients during solution design and as a reference for implementation teams.
• Collaborating with Software Architects to prepare comprehensive End-to-End Solution Architectures aligning with sold solutions and customer needs.
• Participating in initiatives and research & development activities as required.
• Reviewing and compiling compliance matrices demonstrating proposed IT platform capabilities for submission by the presales team.
• Develop technical solutions including solutions architecture, concepts, and technical proposals.
• Coordinate with the Projects Manager and sales team in formulating and building up proposal knowledge and customer business requirements.
• Assists and participates in developing RFI, RFP, and RFQ responses.
• Develop standard financial proposals.
• Conduct presentations of solutions to clients and potential clients in addition to close the deal.

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• B.Sc. Of Computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of software industry experience, including two or more years in software presales.
• Proven technology skills, outstanding interpersonal abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills
• MUST have outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Technical Qualifications (Preferrable)
• Fair knowledge of Microsoft Technology Stack, Products, and Platforms.
• Awareness with open-Source technologies, products, and platforms.
• Experience with Cloud solutions and concepts.
• Hands-on practical experience in software development.
