Software Support Engineer

Job description:

Asterisk Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Software Support Engineer to provide technical assistance to customers, troubleshoot software issues, and coordinate with the development team to ensure efficient issue resolution. The ideal candidate should have strong SQL Server expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage customer queries effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Answer phone calls and email inquiries from users and provide technical support/guidance to resolve issues
• Use SQL server programming to diagnose and solve customer issues
• Collect appropriate information from customer regarding questions or problems and open Tickets in Ticketing System
• Coordinate with development with strategies to resolve software issues
• Use active troubleshooting to resolve hardware or software issues within specified time frames
• Document action taken, escalate call if necessary.

Qualification:

• Masters in Computer Sciences / Bachelors of Computer Sciences
• Hands on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Proven Spoken English skills.
• Troubleshooting software queries Experience with a helpdesk ticketing system.
• Proficiency in English communication is a key requirement for all applicants.

Office Timing: 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM

Office Location: E-11/3 Islamabad.
