Solar Project Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Solar Project Manager to lead large-scale solar energy projects from inception to commissioning. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in managing utility-scale solar PV projects (50 MW+) and possess a deep understanding of the technical, financial, and regulatory aspects of renewable energy development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project execution of utility-scale solar power plants (50 MW+).
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
• Interface with clients, government authorities, consultants, and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
• Monitor and report on project performance, milestones, and deliverables.
• Support business development by providing technical insights and client support.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in solar project management.
• Demonstrated experience managing solar projects of 100 MW or above .
• Strong knowledge of EPC contracts, site execution, permitting, and interconnection processes .
• Familiarity with PV system design tools (e.g., PVSyst) and project management software.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel to project sites as required.
• Professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) are a plus.
