Sourcing Executive Role

Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify new suppliers, industry trends, and cost-saving opportunities.

- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, select, and onboard new suppliers. Manage existing supplier relationships, conducting regular business reviews and performance evaluations.

- Sourcing & Procurement: Lead the end-to-end sourcing process for assigned categories, including RFx (Request for Proposal/Information/Quotation), supplier negotiations, and selection.

- Cost Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to achieve significant cost reductions while maintaining quality and service levels.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., Product Development, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Finance) to understand requirements and align sourcing strategies with business goals.

- Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage supplier agreements and contracts to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.

- Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical, logistical, and single-source dependencies.

- Data-Driven Decisions: Analyze spend data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track savings, measure supplier performance, and inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.

- Proven experience (2+ years) in a strategic sourcing, procurement, or vendor management role.

- A strong track record of achieving and measuring cost savings.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build strong supplier relationships.
- Solid understanding of contract law and procurement best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
