We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Spa Front Desk Receptionist Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a spa or wellness environment, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the first point of contact, the Spa Front Desk Lead plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for our clients, ensuring smooth and efficient operations at the front desk.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Reception & Experience:
- Serve as the first point of contact, providing a warm, welcoming, and professional atmosphere.
- Assist clients with check-in and check-out, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable spa experience.
- Manage appointment scheduling via phone, email, and in person, while maintaining efficient service flow.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and poise.
- Provide personalized recommendations on spa treatments and retail products to enhance the client experience.
Front Desk Operations & Leadership:
- Oversee and train front desk team members, ensuring consistent, high-quality customer service.
- Manage daily front desk operations, including staff scheduling, task delegation, and performance monitoring.
- Implement front desk procedures to ensure efficiency, organization, and an optimal client experience.
- Collaborate with spa therapists, estheticians, and management to streamline communication and workflow.
Marketing, Promotions & Social Media:
- Assist in developing and executing spa promotions, special offers, and membership programs to drive business growth.
- Manage and create engaging content for the spa’s social media platforms, including capturing in-spa experiences.
- Promote retail products and services to increase sales and client engagement.
- Support marketing initiatives by maintaining an updated knowledge of current specials and packages.
Appointment & Revenue Management:
- Optimize scheduling to maximize appointment bookings and therapist availability.
- Confirm client bookings, follow up on cancellations, and minimize no-shows.
- Process payments accurately and manage service billing with attention to detail.
- Track and report key performance metrics, including sales, appointment bookings, and customer retention.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate client records and update booking systems.
- Assist in inventory management, restocking products, and coordinating with vendors.
- Ensure all front desk and lobby areas are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials.
Collaboration with Upper Management:
- Work closely with spa leadership to implement strategies for business growth.
- Provide feedback on client trends, service improvements, and operational enhancements.
- Participate in meetings to align front desk operations with overall spa goals.
- Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating front desk staff performance.
Qualifications & SkillsExperience & Education:
✔ Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a spa, wellness, hospitality, or customer service role (front desk or leadership experience preferred).
✔ Proficiency in scheduling software and point-of-sale systems is a plus.
✔ Knowledge of spa treatments, products, and services is an advantage.
