Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls with Spanish-speaking patients.
  • Assist patients with billing inquiries, payment information, and claim status.
  • Provide clear explanations of medical bills, insurance coverage, and payment options.
  • Coordinate with clients and internal billing teams to resolve patient concerns.
  • Maintain accurate call records and patient interaction notes in the system.
  • Follow company protocols while maintaining patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
  • Escalate complex issues to the relevant department when necessary.
  • Ensure high-quality customer service and patient satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Spanish and English (verbal communication required).
  • Prior experience in customer support, call center, or medical billing is preferred.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of medical billing processes is a plus.
  • Ability to handle patient queries with professionalism and empathy.
  • Good computer and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in US healthcare / medical billing industry.
  • Familiarity with insurance claims, AR, or patient billing.
  • Experience using CRM or billing software.
