Specialist - Employee Relations

JOB SUMMARY:

The Specialist – Employee Relations is responsible for Employee Relations (ER) related administrative duties, maintains proper employee records in ERP System and addresses queries or requests raised by employees and departments. S/he contributes to the effective implementation of procedures and ensures smooth transactions.

KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Advises and assists in developing, planning, directing, and implementing procedures to produce effective and efficient management of the employee relations function; drafts Employee Relations procedures, if needed
  • Analyzes and interprets people related metrics to identify trends and recommends development and improvement of ER policies and processes, e.g. employee retention, decrease turnover, etc.
  • Monitors and controls procedure for employees’ complaints and grievances
  • Conducts, coordinates ER investigations, this includes conducting interviews and preparing investigation reports
  • Supports and provides guidance to the business in ER issues
  • Conducts Exit interviews
  • Assists the Manager in the administration and supervision of ER issues
  • Prepares associated statistics for the monthly reports and other required reports
  • Participates in any business and strategic planning required for the department
  • Ensures the smooth processing of employee’s separation.
  • Answers queries raised by the branches and arranges meeting with them, if required.
  • Reviews leave processing (Patient Escort Leave, Long Hospitalization Leave, etc.)
  • Other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor
  • Adheres to Sidra’s standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies
  • Adheres to and promotes Sidra’s Values

In view of the evolving needs and opportunities within Sidra, this position may be required to perform other duties as assigned and reporting relationships may vary.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

ESSENTIAL
PREFERRED

Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other relevant field

Experience
  • 5+ years of HR functional experience

Job Specific Skills and Abilities
  • Demonstrated knowledge of standard business applications.

  • Exceptional time management, organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

  • Fluency in written and spoken English
