Position Available: Spray Technician Crew Member

Foothills Landscape Maintenance, LLC is a growing and well-established landscape maintenance company based out of Windsor, CO that serves the Northern Colorado area. FLM is now accepting applications for a Spray Technician Crew Member.

Spray Technician Crew Member– Under the direction of a Spray Technician Crew Leader, provide plant health care including the mixing and application of fertilizers and herbicides. Other landscape maintenance duties may be required. Snow removal is required in the winter months. Understand and implement company policies and procedures.

What you will do

Diagnose and remedy a variety of plant health care issues. Mixing and application of fertilizer, herbicides and other relevant chemicals.

Improves the appearance of the property by completing assigned tasks such as removing weeds.

Accurately complete daily work orders and paperwork for entire crew, per established process

Prepares for assigned landscaping work by reviewing requests; gathering tools, equipment, supplies, and materials.

Instruct and monitor crew in use of tools, equipment and vehicles

Provide on-the-job training and supervision; leading and teaching others. Identifying the developmental needs of others and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge or skills.

Implement safety, quality, cleanliness and security guidelines for site, persons and equipment

Ends the day by disposing of accumulated debris, replacing tools and equipment, cleaning out and refueling the truck, and turning in paperwork.

Required Qualifications –

1 year or more Full time experience in landscape maintenance or installation services

A strong working knowledge of the tools, materials and practices for chemical application including application rates, drift, calibration, PPE and safety High

Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills. High

Self- Motivated as you may work alone a majority of the time High

Fundamental knowledge of plant health issues and how they are affected by different variables Medium

Demonstrated ability to understand customer requirements and provide practical, cost effective solutions. Medium

Demonstrated ability to develop trusting relationships with customers and crew members. Medium

An ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals of varied backgrounds. Medium

The ability to handle multiple and varied responsibilities and to set priorities Medium

The ability as a representative of FLM to project a consistently positive, professional and competent image in all dealings with the employees and public Medium

DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State

Foothills Landscape Maintenance, LLC verifies all employee’s eligibility through the E-Verify system and conducts pre-employment drug screenings. (We reserve the right to conduct random drug screening.)
