The Division:
empowOR by CSST, a part of Jonas, a web-based client, services, and results tracking software for Community Action Agencies, non-profits, and local governments. Their software is designed to help these organizations manage their daily operations, track client progress, and report on outcomes. It supports a "Whole Family" approach to case management.
The Position:
We are looking to hire a strong SQA Analyst having hands-on experience and expertise in manual and automation testing, to help ensure high quality and timely delivery of releases.

The successful hire will be located and work out of the Contour Software Karachi/Lahore/Islamabad office, working as part of the resource-center team, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.


Responsibilities:
  • Attend design meetings with stakeholders and developers helping to refine acceptance criteria for user stories.
  • Develop test plans based on user stories and acceptance criteria and enter these into Azure DevOps.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated regression testing suites using Playwright in conjunction with Azure DevOps.
  • Meet with other QA staff and managers as necessary.
  • Perform comprehensive testing of code to be released.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives and support company-wide data-related projects as needed.

Required Qualifications & Skills
  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of experience in software QA, with expertise in both manual and automated testing.
  • Demonstrated ability to design test strategies and automation approaches for complex, multi-tier enterprise applications (desktop, API, web, and mobile).
  • Proven experience leading or significantly contributing to automation framework and long-term maintainability.
  • Good hands-on experience in the following:
  • UI automation using Playwright or Selenium
  • REST API automation and contract validation
  • OOP (C# or Java) or JavaScript/TypeScript based automation development
  • Solid experience integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and optimizing execution performance.
  • Able to develop automate, execute, and analyze automated test scripts.
  • Be able to learn the user use cases, UI and UX of complex software quickly and convert them to test scenarios and automate them accordingly.
  • Ability to leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, along with automation frameworks like Playwright or Selenium, to design, develop, and maintain automated regression testing suites.
  • Excellent organizational skills – have the ability for timely decision-making, problem-solving, and execution of a number of complex tasks in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose issues and recommend effective solutions.
Desirable:
  • Some experience working with companies in the US ideally in the human services, education or health care domain.
  • Familiarity with web applications and SQL
  • Software support/Help desk experience
  • Knowledge of CRM systems
  • Good understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS) platform
