QA Automation Engineer

Confiz is looking for experienced Test Automation Engineers with 4–7 years of hands-on experience to join our growing QA team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality engineering, have strong expertise in building scalable automation frameworks, and be capable of working in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the test automation tool selection process.
• Develop and execute automated test suites using COTS and custom tools.
• Integrate test suites into the test management system and custom test harnesses; and perform other testing-related duties as required.
• Work with the Development team to capture and reuse automated Unit Test Cases, Test Stubs and Drivers, and other Development test objects
• Participate in the Change Control Board to identify the quality implications of known bugs and the impact of proposed changes to product definition on the testing process.
• Work with the Release Engineering team to create and maintain an automated nightly build verification (“smoke”) test
  
  

Requirements

• 4-7 years. of experience in test automation tools e.g. Selenium/Appium Automation.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright or Katalon Studio is highly preferred.
• Able to build an automation framework from scratch.
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks like BDD or Hybrid.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD using Team city / Jenkins is a must.
• Hands on experience in developing robust automated scripts using any programming language. E.g JAVA, C#, Node JS, Python.
• Have worked with Rest Assured or Postman for API testing.
• Should have worked on using Selenium IDE, Web Driver, Remote Control, Grid.
• Must have knowledge of creating a release plan along with test scenario and test cases.
• Must possess ability to maintain, run and manage test runs.
• Hands on experience with test management tools like Jira.
• Should be able to build logic.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Experience of Agile frameworks and regression testing.
• Good to Have:
• Performance testing using JMeter
• Knowledge of security testing
• Familiarity with Katalon Studio is a plus
• Familiarity with payment systems and gateways will be a huge plus.
• Experience of leading a team
• Eligibility Criteria:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering, or similar.
• At least 3+ years of experience in Automation testing domain.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
