Position Overview:
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing the company’s financial and accounting operations. This position requires a blend of accounting expertise and financial analysis, with a deep understanding of real estate consultancy practices. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in both accounting and finance, possess strong analytical skills, and be able to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
  • Monitor and reconcile bank statements and financial accounts to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Assist in financial planning and decision-making processes, providing insights on cost optimization and profitability.
  • Manage tax filings and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures, internal controls, and relevant accounting standards.
  • Provide support during audits and liaise with external auditors.
  • Stay updated with the latest accounting trends.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CA, or equivalent certification preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
