Sr. Architectural

Job Summary: We are urgently seeking a seasoned Senior Architectural Engineer with extensive consultant-side experience in building projects. The ideal candidate will be a technical authority, responsible for leading architectural design, ensuring compliance with all local regulations, and leveraging advanced BIM methodologies to deliver a high-profile project. This role requires a proven leader with prior approval authority from the Public Works Authority (PWA).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architectural design development and review process for large-scale building projects from concept through to construction documentation.
• Ensure all architectural designs and deliverables comply with Qatar's building codes, standards, and PWA regulations and requirements.
• Act as the primary technical liaison for architectural matters with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities, including the PWA.
• Utilize and enforce BIM protocols and standards as mandated by the Project's Employer's Information Requirements (EIR-PWA).
• Manage and mentor a team of architects and engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Conduct rigorous quality control checks on all architectural drawings, models, and specifications.
• Resolve complex design and technical issues, providing innovative and practical solutions.
• Secure necessary design approvals from relevant authorities, leveraging existing relationships and expertise with the PWA process.

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Certification: Valid UPDA Certification with a Grade A classification is mandatory.
• Experience: A minimum of 15 years of post-graduate experience in architectural design, specifically within a consulting firm.
• Sector Expertise: Proven and significant experience working on major building projects (e.g., high-rise, commercial, residential, mixed-use developments).
• BIM Proficiency: Mandatory advanced capability in BIM processes and software (Revit, Navisworks). Must have a deep understanding of implementing and adhering to Project EIR (Employer's Information Requirements) as defined by PWA.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Qatari design standards, codes, and submission procedures. Previous approval authority from PWA is a significant advantage and highly preferred.
• Language: Fluency in English is required;
