Sr. Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements while working closely with stakeholders, developers, and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions.
• Create process models, diagrams, and documentation using standard techniques (UML, BPMN, etc.).
• Work closely with cross-functional teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support testing, validation, and implementation of solutions.
• Provide mentorship to junior analysts where required.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in requirements management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, and Trello.
• Strong data analysis and visualization skills using SQL, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
• Knowledge of modeling techniques such as UML and BPMN.

Soft Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
• High level of adaptability and interpersonal skills.

Domain Knowledge

• Understanding of the software services industry, including market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
• Strong business acumen to align solutions with organizational goals and strategies.

Other Important Qualities

• Attention to detail in requirements gathering and documentation.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and environments.
• Leadership skills with the ability to lead initiatives and mentor juniors.

Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory)

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) – IIBA
• PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) – PMI
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) – Scrum Alliance
• PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) – PMI
• Six Sigma Certification

Experience:

• Min 3 – 5 Years
