Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Sr. Director of Membership, Chapter & Group Engagement to lead our organization’s efforts in fostering vibrant community involvement and expanding our network of engaged members. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive engagement strategies to increase active participation across chapters and groups.
- Lead the recruitment, onboarding, training, and supervision of volunteer leaders and chapter coordinators to ensure effective program delivery.
- Oversee the planning and implementation of membership programs, events, and initiatives that foster community connection and growth.
- Manage social media platforms, digital campaigns, and marketing efforts to promote engagement opportunities and highlight success stories.
- Collect, analyze, and utilize data to measure program effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and inform future planning.
- Facilitate public speaking engagements at conferences, community events, and organizational meetings to promote membership initiatives.
- Coordinate fundraising activities and develop partnerships with external organizations to support program sustainability.
- Provide administrative oversight for program budgets, reporting, documentation, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in volunteer management, program development, or community engagement roles.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams or managing volunteers effectively.
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences confidently.
- Expertise in project management principles with a track record of executing complex initiatives on time and within scope.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies, social media management, and data collection tools to enhance outreach efforts.
- Background in public health, social work, addiction counseling or related fields is highly desirable.
- Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams, foster collaboration, and drive organizational goals forward.
- Experience in fundraising activities or grant writing is a plus.
- Excellent administrative skills including budgeting, recruiting volunteers or staff, teaching or training experience is beneficial. Pay: $140,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
