- Ensure all HR-related procedures, records, and training programs comply with GMP, ISO, and other regulatory standards.
- Coordinate and participate in internal and external GMP audits, providing all necessary HR documentation and personnel records.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance and Plant Management teams to develop and implement SOPs related to personnel hygiene, conduct, and training.
- Assist in accident investigations and ensure strict adherence to all safety codes and environmental policies.
Recruitment, onboarding, and training
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for all plant employees, from sourcing and screening to interviews and hiring.
- Develop and deliver induction and onboarding programs that include mandatory GMP and safety training for all new hires.
- Coordinate and track regular refresher training on GMP, safety, and operational procedures for all existing staff.
- Maintain accurate and updated training records for all plant personnel, ensuring all legal and regulatory requirements are met.
Employee relations and performance management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee grievances, disciplinary issues, and conflict resolution.
- Conduct performance management processes and coordinate employee evaluations for all plant staff.
- Administer and enforce company HR policies and procedures fairly and consistently.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives and welfare programs to foster a positive workplace culture.
Payroll and statutory compliance
- Prepare and process monthly payroll inputs, ensuring accurate attendance, overtime, and leave data.
- Ensure full statutory compliance with labor laws, including Provident Fund (PF), Employee's State Insurance (ESIC), and other local labor regulations.
- Maintain and update employee records, contracts, and other HR-related documents.
- Liaise with government officials, including the factory inspector and labor department, as required.
Administrative duties
- Manage administrative tasks related to employee life cycle events (e.g., transfers, terminations).
- Generate regular HR reports and analytics for management review.
- Manage employee benefit programs and communication.
