Brady Corporation is seeking an analytical and strategic finance business partner, supporting Brady's Healthcare & People Solutions business. This role will report to the Finance Director - H&PS and will work in conjunction with the broader finance team to provide full P/L support for the business, accounting and compliance, and FP&A activities. This is an onsite role at our Murray, UT office.
Requirements:
- Maintain and ensure the proper accounting for the business unit(s). Work with the India shared service team on month end closing procedures to ensure accurate accounting in accordance with GAAP.
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley control requirements, including account reconciliations and analytics.
- Conduct analysis of actual financial results against budget and prior year, identifying key performance drivers and communicating variances to regional management.
- Develop insightful analytics for measuring sales and profitability, including analysis of product line performance, product mix, impact of promotional activity, customer rebates discounts, etc. Also responsible for analyzing discretionary expenses, such as advertising and travel, to gauge appropriate spending.
- Be a strategic business partner to the commercial functions within the business.
- Ownership of elements of the annual budget process for the H&PS business. Work with leadership and cost center owners to set the appropriate targets in alignment with the overall sales and profitability expectations of the business.
- Ownership of the proper accounting for distributor programs, deferred revenue, warranty programs, royalty programs, as well as incentive compensation plans for the sales team.
- Underlying responsibilities for all job aspects include:
- Adhere to the Brady accounting policies in accordance with GAAP.
- Document and follow standard processes and procedures.
- Identify opportunities to simplify and streamline reporting and other finance obligations.
- Participate in multifunctional project teams that evaluate, recommend and monitor the implementation of new initiatives.

What You Need To Be Successful
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3+ years of experience in industry finance, corporate finance or public accounting.
- Experience with analyzing manufacturing and operations is a plus.
- Experience with SAP, QlikView, OneStream, and Microsoft suite is a plus.
- Strong financial accounting skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the proven ability to execute projects through indirect influence.
- Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion, prioritize and allocate time accordingly.
- Willing to travel 20-30% of the time.
