Sr. Full Stack Software Engineer (Backend Focus)

As a Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack (Backend Focus), you’ll play a key role in building and scaling the next generation of applications at Acquisition.com. You’ll work across the stack, with a strong emphasis on backend systems, APIs, and integrations that power business-critical workflows.

In our lean, high-performing environment, your contributions will directly impact company-wide operations. You’ll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to turn complex requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.

We’re looking for an engineer who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys solving system-level problems, and leverages modern frameworks, cloud-native architectures, and AI tools to improve velocity and quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend Node.js–based microservices, APIs, and system integrations at both the platform level (HoldCo) and within consuming applications (OpCo).
• Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications across the stack using React/Next.js, Node.js, and tRPC.
• Model, design, and optimize databases for efficiency, reliability, and scalability
• Translate business requirements into clean, maintainable, and well-structured technical solutions.
• Collaborate in architectural discussions and contribute meaningfully to system design decisions.
• Improve development workflows through automation, AI-powered tooling, and continuous refinement of engineering processes.
• Write high-quality, well-tested code with comprehensive unit and end-to-end test coverage, and actively participate in code reviews.

Requirements

• Strong full-stack development experience with an emphasis on backend development, including API design and system integration.
• Proficiency with React/Next.js and modern full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems.
• Experience designing and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Vercel and AWS, CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, and observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog.
• Strong understanding of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and data modeling.
• Experience with agent-driven development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code).
• Commitment to testing, documentation, and engineering best practices.
• Ability to balance thoughtful architecture with rapid iteration in a fast-paced environment.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including experience operating at a senior level.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per month
