Job Title: Sr. MEP Procurement Engineer
Location: Dubai

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement MEP procurement strategies for high-rise projects (residential, commercial, mixed-use).
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors for MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, etc.).
- Conduct market research to source cost-effective and high-quality materials.
- Prepare RFQs (Request for Quotations), RFPs (Request for Proposals), and tender documents for MEP packages.
- Evaluate bids, negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Manage lead times, logistics, and delivery schedules to avoid project delays.
- Ensure procured materials meet quality standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC).
- Monitor procurement costs and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Assess supply chain risks (delays, shortages, price fluctuations) and develop mitigation plans.
- Track procurement KPIs and provide monthly reports on procurement status.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, contracts, and legal requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier performance.
- Resolve disputes related to delivery, quality, or payment terms.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years in MEP procurement for high-rise buildings (residential, commercial, or mixed-use).
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and equipment (HVAC, electrical panels, pumps, piping, firefighting systems, etc.).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Familiarity with FIDIC, NEC, or other construction contracts.
