Position: Quantity Surveyor – Steel Structure Projects

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing project costs, contracts, and commercial aspects of steel structure construction works. This position requires excellent technical knowledge, financial acumen, and strong experience in the UAE construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents specific to steel fabrication and erection projects.
• Review contract terms and provide commercial advice to project teams.
• Track, manage, and control project costs to ensure financial targets are met.
• Perform site-based quantity take-offs, valuations, and progress assessments.
• Handle subcontractor comparisons, negotiations, and payment certifications.
• Manage variations, claims, and contractual correspondence.
• Deliver clear and accurate commercial reports for management review.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years’ UAE experience as a QS in steel structure projects (mandatory).
• Solid knowledge of steel fabrication and erection methods.
• Strong command of QS software tools, MS Excel, and AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently under deadlines.
