This is a frontline technical consulting position, responsible for creating architectures, writing winning proposals, estimating solutions, and engaging with clients during pre-sales and bid stages. What You’ll Lead And Deliver

The Sr Solution Consultant - Digital & Cybersecurity will provide support to architect and develop Industry 4.0 solutions responsible for leading our customers to digital transformation in areas of industrial analytics, operations and security. The individual will understand customer requirements, business challenges and design innovative technical solutions utilizing existing and potential technology partners and tools as well as prepare and present the proposals.

Solution Architecture & Proposal Design

  • Architect end-to-end OT cybersecurity and digital solutions aligned with client scopes, industry frameworks, and INTECH’s strategy.
  • Create technical solution write-ups, architecture diagrams, and cost estimates for tenders, RFPs, and proposals.
  • Translate business and technical needs into clear solution architectures, emphasizing security, scalability, and value.

Pre-Sales Leadership

  • Support business development by identifying solution opportunities and contributing to techno-commercial strategy.
  • Lead and deliver presentations, demos, and technical clarifications to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with global technology partners and OEMs to design competitive, fit-for-purpose offerings.

Cybersecurity & Digital Expertise

  • Apply frameworks such as ISA/IEC 62443 and the Purdue Model in solution designs.
  • Integrate industrial data, IIoT, and historian solutions securely with enterprise or cloud systems.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies in OT/IT convergence, digital twins, and industrial analytics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Proposal Department, OT Cybersecurity Practice, and Business Units to align on strategy and execution.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers in building proposal content and reusable solution templates.

Requirements:

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Experience:

  • 6–10 years of experience in Automation, Digital Solutions, or Cybersecurity, with strong exposure to industrial systems (DCS, PLC, SCADA, Historians, MES).
  • Preferred 2 years in solution architecture, pre-sales, or proposal development roles. (Not mandatory).

Technical Foundation:

  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT).
  • Comprehensive understanding of OT cybersecurity principles, ISA/IEC 62443, Cybersecurity Solutions (Patching, Hardening, AV, NMS etc.) and Purdue Model.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent presentation and consulting skills — able to explain technical concepts clearly to both engineers and executives.
  • Strong engineering aptitude, problem-solving ability, and adaptability to emerging technologies.
  • A passion for continuous learning, research, and adapting to evolving technologies.
  • Strong documentation and proposal-writing capability.
  • Proven problem-solving and system-integration mindset.

Preferred:

  • Prior exposure to IT/OT integration, digital transformation projects, or data-driven solutions.
  • Experience with IIoT platforms, data integration, or industrial digitalization projects.
  • Certifications like ISA/IEC 62443, GICSP, CCNA, or CISSP are an edge, but not a barrier — curiosity and adaptability matter more.
