Sr.Mechanical Engineer

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer (Site Supervision) with strong industry knowledge. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with site visits, attending meetings, and conducting inspections. The successful candidate will communicate effectively, provide technical recommendations, and coordinate project details with team members, subcontractors, and clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical designs, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects
• Design HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems
• Ensure project compliance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications
• Prepare and review quotations, variations, material, and technical submittals
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, main contractors, and consultants
• Prepare coordinated and detailed shop drawings for submission and site execution
• Perform engineering calculations to support design work
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and contractors
• Coordinate with the Project Manager and stakeholders to improve efficiency and maintain project profitability
• Conduct site inspections when required
• Lead work independently and manage site activities
• Manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure

Requirements

• 8 to 10 years UAE experience with a Consultant firm (required)
• Strong contracting and site supervision experience
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering design and analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently within assigned scope
