Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing core accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and supporting financial reporting processes. Your expertise will help maintain accurate financial records, streamline accounting operations, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization. Responsibilities
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or variances.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including financial statement preparation in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist with internal controls compliance such as SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) procedures and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, audit preparations, and financial analysis projects.
- Maintain detailed records of financial transactions using various accounting software like PeopleSoft, Kronos, UltiPro, ADP, Ceridian, Paychex, and others.
- Support payroll management tasks through systems like Workday or UltiPro while ensuring accurate payroll processing.
- Participate in tax preparation activities by gathering relevant data and supporting tax filings as needed.
Skills
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles along with experience in governmental or non-profit accounting is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in multiple accounting software platforms such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, ADP, Kronos, UltiPro, Paychex, and Workday.
- Knowledge of SOX compliance requirements and internal control procedures.
- Expertise in account reconciliation techniques including general ledger reconciliation and account analysis.
- Excellent data entry skills with a focus on accuracy; familiarity with double-entry bookkeeping and 10-key typing is essential.
- Ability to interpret complex financial concepts related to accounts payable/receivable, payroll management, budgeting, credit analysis, and tax processes.
- Strong mathematical skills coupled with analytical thinking for account analysis and financial reporting.

Pay: Rs225,000.00 per month
