Job Title: Steel Fabricator

Job Description:

The Steel Fabricator at our manufacturing company is responsible for fabricating steel structures and components according to specifications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of drawings, be able to estimate material requirements accurately, and possess the necessary skills to work with various fabrication tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand project requirements.

Fabricate and assemble steel structures and components, including greenhouse net house frameworks, highway light poles, brackets, jigs, and other steel parts, based on technical drawings and specifications.

Cut, shape, and assemble steel components using various tools, machinery, and equipment such as cutting machines, welding units, grinding machines, and bending tools.

Weld steel parts securely, ensuring strong, durable, and code-compliant joints.

Perform structural erections, scaffolding erection, and ACE fabrication as required.

Estimate material requirements and coordinate the timely procurement of necessary materials.

Utilize fabrication tools and machinery effectively and safely, adhering to all safety protocols.

Conduct quality checks and inspections on fabricated parts to verify accuracy, precision, and adherence to specifications.

Troubleshoot and resolve fabrication, welding, or assembly issues promptly to ensure project continuity.

Collaborate with project managers to address design or production challenges, ensuring timely completion of tasks.

Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.

Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times, following safety guidelines and regulations.

Assist with structural and steel component installation as needed.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in steel fabrication and welding.

2. Basic reading, writing, and comprehension skills to understand drawings and instructions.

3. Proficiency in using fabrication tools and machines.

4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

5. Strong attention to detail and quality.

6. Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of the job.

7. Certification from an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in relevant field or a Mechanical Engineer

Additional Information:

- Salary Range: 200 to 300 OMR (negotiable on the caliber)

- Age Group: 25 to 35

Pay: RO200.000 - RO300.000 per month
