Steel Foreman

Requirements

• Minimum 5–10 years experience in steel/structural works.
• Good knowledge of fabrication, welding, and steel installation.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Strong team supervision and communication skills.
• Experience in construction or interior fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage steel fabrication and installation works at site.
• Read and interpret structural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate with site engineers, welders, fabricators, and helpers.
• Ensure proper cutting, bending, welding, and fixing of steel structures.
• Monitor daily work progress and meet project deadlines.
• Check quality of steel work and welding standards.
• Ensure workers follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Arrange materials, tools, and equipment required for steel work.
• Maintain daily manpower and work progress reports.
• Coordinate with other trades like civil, MEP, and finishing teams.
