Stock Controller has to Keep an accurate record of all the items added to or taken from the inventory. May enter data (log) information and data manually or through our systems. Submits reports to the LP Manager, who supervises his or her daily activities. Works closely with suppliers (system developers) and must be able to establish a good rapport with them. Required to track obsolete and surplus goods, report low inventory items, and follow the proper procedures and documentation in ordering.
Responsibilities

Develop accurate, consistent, and enhancements to the inventory reporting structure.

Run a series of inventory reports on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis and perform detailed analysis of item performance.

Make inspections and follow-up for all warehouses.

Follow up all the entire stock movements and ensure complying with the official stock movement procedures.

Review showroom receiving and preparing monthly reports with discrepancies.

Confer with department managers to ensure coordination of stock control activities with various departments.

Assume responsibility for inventory accuracy, and daily, monthly, and annually inventory reporting.

Prepare a report with all discrepancies and make the final adjustments accordingly.

Prepare all the monthly inventory reports for the management according to the monthly stock transactions.

Responsible for the yearly fiscal count and prepare the final opening balance.

Establish and control systems access and security.

Check systems in order to optimize performance and to initiate recovery action after system failures.

Implement regular housekeeping procedures, including data backup.

Manage the distribution and retention of data on various storage devices.

Coordinate system updates and replacement of 'old' versions.

Calculate and report all free quantities of goods sold from our showrooms without a value or received form supplier’s orders under free of charge.

Reporting to LP Manager with Daily-Weekly-Monthly-Yearly promotions which are subject to any price change or offered on high discount.

Control and supervise any request to apply for inventory price change according to management approval and validity date, offers will be subject to expiry date which should be maintained by the stock controller.

Control any inventory discrepancy and report to management with the inventory status on occurrence.

Manage and control each and every stock hand over, stock count, stocktaking or any official physical inventory count once the application is received by HR department and approved by management and report to management with the results taking into consideration the time consumed to inform the staff and hold the responsibility.

Report to COO’s office with clear schedule of visits time frame and report with any urgent visit.

Be on call for emergencies and important issues.
Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration or any related field

Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience as stock controller in a similar industry

In depth knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices in Multi branches
