Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Store Accountant to manage all accounting and inventory-related activities in the store/warehouse. The role involves maintaining stock records, verifying transactions, and ensuring accurate financial and inventory reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of stock movement – inward, outward, returns, and damages.
- Record daily transactions related to material receipts and issues in accounting/inventory software.
- Monitor stock levels and reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and accounting reports.
- Process purchase bills, GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), and vendor invoices for payment.
- Coordinate with procurement and store teams for stock verification and auditing.
- Assist with month-end and year-end inventory closings.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and internal controls.
- Maintain records for taxation (GST, TDS, etc.), where applicable.
- Handle petty cash, expense tracking, and daily cash flow for the store if required.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in accounting or inventory management, preferably in a store, warehouse, or retail environment.
- Proficiency in Tally, ERP, SAP, or other accounting software.
- Good knowledge of inventory and stock management systems.
- Strong skills in MS Excel and other office applications.
- Good understanding of basic tax laws (GST, TDS) and invoice processing.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
