Store Incharge is responsible for managing the daily operations of the store. He should ensure proper storage, inventory control, and timely distribution of goods while maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities1. Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate stock records (inward and outward)
- Monitor stock levels and ensure availability of materials
- Conduct regular stock checks and audits
- Prevent overstocking or stock shortages
2. Receiving and Dispatching Goods
- Supervise the receipt of incoming goods
- Verify quantity and quality of items received
- Ensure proper storage of materials
- Manage the dispatch of goods as per orders or requirements
3. Record Keeping
- Maintain stock registers, invoices, and delivery notes
- Update inventory management systems
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports
4. Store Organization
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and safe
- Arrange goods systematically for easy access
- Follow proper storage methods (FIFO/LIFO where applicable)
5. Coordination
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, and production departments
- Communicate with suppliers and transporters when needed
- Report stock issues or damages to management
6. Security & Safety
- Ensure safety of goods and prevent theft or damage
- Follow safety regulations and procedures
- Monitor expiry dates (for perishable items)

Qualifications
- Intermediate or Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
