Key Responsibilities
Material Management:
- Receive, inspect, and store all MEP and TAQA related materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring their quality and quantity.
- Inventory Control:
- Maintain accurate inventory records, manage stock levels, and conduct regular audits to minimize wastage and ensure availability.
Stock Issuance:
- Issue materials to project teams and departments based on approved requisitions.
- Software & Record Keeping:
- Update inventory software and generate reports, maintaining proper documentation of all transactions.
Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure proper storage conditions and adhere to all relevant safety standards, including those for lifting operations and general warehouse safety.
Coordination:
- Co-ordinate with procurement and project managers to address material requirements and stock levels.
Quality Assurance:
- Inspect materials for damage, faults, and compliance with specifications.
- Required Skills & Experience
- MEP and TAQA Knowledge:
- Experience handling and managing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing materials and equipment and for receiving materials as per TAQA standards
- TAQA or Similar Systems Experience.
Inventory Management:
- Proven ability in inventory control, stock taking, and maintaining accurate records.
- Lifting Operations:
- Understanding of TAQA safety protocols and procedures for handling and lifting heavy equipment and materials.
Organizational Skills:
- Strong ability to organize and maintain a clean, efficient, and safe store area.
Attention to Detail:
- Crucial for accurate record-keeping, inspection, and stock monitoring.
Communication Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively with project teams, procurement, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum education:
- High School Diploma; Diploma or Certificate in Logistics / Supply Chain / Inventory Control is an advantage.
Experience:
- Typically 2‑5 years of storekeeping / inventory control experience (preferably in power, energy, or industrial sectors).
- Good knowledge of material handling and storage practices.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, especially Excel)
- Strong attention to detail,good organizational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of cross‑functional teams.
Physically fit: ability to lift / carry, climb, stand for long periods.
Good communication skills (English; knowledge of Arabic or local language is a plus)
