Store Keeper - UAE Construction/Maintenance experience

Duties and Responsibilities

1. To control over all activities in Stores Department

2. To ensure both quality and quantity of materials.

3. To maintain proper records.

4. To initiate purchase requisitions for the replacement of stock of all regular stores items whenever the stock level of any item of store approaches the minimum limit fixed in respect thereof.

5. To initiate action for stoppage of further purchasing when the stock level approaches the maximum limit.

6. To check and receive purchased materials forwarded by the receiving department and to arrange for the storage in appropriate places.

7. To reserve a particular material for a specific user when so required.

8. To issue materials only in required quantities against authorized requisition notes/material lists.

9. To check the book balances, with the actual physical stock at frequent intervals by way of internal control over wrong issues, pilferage, etc.

10. Inventory preparation and it's Management

11. Following LPO materials status and its delivery time scheduling.

12. Construction or Maintenance company experience required.

Storekeeper Requirements and Qualifications

Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management

Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment

Analytical mind with ability to make accurate mathematical computations

Written and verbal communication skills

Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management

Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time

Skills to operate common office equipment

Minimum of a degree holder

Minimum 2 year of UAE experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or recordkeeping with a construction/maintenance company.

Salary - AED2500 to AED2800 plus shared company accommodation
