About the Role
We are seeking a driven, execution-focused Business Development Manager to lead the pursuit and acquisition of commercial service contracts through RFPs, procurement platforms, and competitive bidding processes.
This role owns the full lifecycle of opportunity identification, bid submission, and contract handoff across multiple markets. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated by revenue growth, with a strong ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Bid & Opportunity Management
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue RFP, RFQ, and procurement opportunities aligned with company growth goals
- Own the full bid lifecycle from discovery through submission and award follow-up
- Submit a minimum of three qualified bids per month
- Gather feedback on bid outcomes to continuously improve win rates
Procurement Platform Management
- Maintain company profiles across procurement platforms (e.g., Bonfire, BuyBoard, IonWave)
- Track opportunities, deadlines, renewals, and compliance requirements
- Ensure all submissions are complete, accurate, and on time
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with operations, finance, and leadership to gather required bid documentation
- Clearly communicate contract terms and expectations to internal teams upon award
- Maintain and organize Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
Pipeline & Revenue Accountability
- Track pipeline value and forecast contract revenue
- Participate in weekly pipeline reviews and team strategy meetings
- Contribute to broader revenue generation initiatives
