We are currently seeking a talented “Strategic Purchasing Specialist” to join our dynamic “Global Strategic Purchasing” team. Based in “ HQ, Istanbul ” this role will contribute to transformative projects under the Consumer Group.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical/Industrial Engineering, Chemistry or Business Administration
• Min. 2 years of experience in purchasing, preferably focusing on sourcing of packaging
• Fluency in English
• Experience in cost analysis and reporting with knowledge of import, customs and logistics processes
• Attentive to details, analytical thinking skills, result-driven
• Advanced planning and organizing abilities, eager to work in a global workplace structure
• Open minded, enthusiastic to learn new skills, adaptive in a challenging environment
• Advanced level of MS Office & SAP is an asset
• Having no restriction to travel

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Supporting global sourcing process of Packaging materials in line with the sourcing strategy of Hayat Kimya
• Building and managing effective business relationships with global&local commodity/specialties suppliers
• Monitoring global logistics process of main commodities by collaborating with regional procurement
• Observing core and sub-markets & global price trends and preparing related reports
• Analyzing costs on SAP, budget realization, cost breakdown and preparing reports for the category
• Maintaining long term and reliable relationships with suppliers developing alternatives in accordance with our global strategy
• Conducting monthly cost studies, KPI reports as well as feasibility studies for new investment projects
• Contributing for cost saving projects with a collaboration of internal stakeholders
