About the Role

We are seeking a highly driven and adaptable Strategy & Operations Associate to partner directly with the Co-Founder & CEO and work closely with the leadership team. This is a hands-on, high-impact role at the intersection of strategy, operations, and execution, designed for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.

You will be at the heart of the company’s scale-up journey, ensuring operational discipline, driving cross-functional alignment, and providing structured reporting to both internal and external stakeholders, including investors and the board.

The ideal candidate brings proven startup experience, exceptional analytical and communication skills, and the ability to move seamlessly between detail-oriented execution and high-level strategic support.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Reporting

• Build and manage reporting systems, dashboards, and KPIs to track company performance.
• Prepare board packs, investor updates, and strategic reports with accuracy and clarity.
• Ensure follow-through and accountability across leadership priorities.

Investor Relations

• Consolidate financial, operational, and strategic data into professional investor materials.
• Support ongoing investor communication and reporting cadence.
• Assist with fundraising readiness and ensure consistency in shareholder communication.

Recruitment & HR

• Support in the end-to-end recruitment process: sourcing, screening, interviews, and onboarding.
• Support in HR frameworks including contracts, policies, performance management, and compliance.
• Promote a positive company culture aligned with Deed’s values.

Leadership Support & Strategic Projects

• Partner with the CEO and leadership team on high-impact, cross-functional initiatives.
• Coordinate strategic projects across product, growth, and operations.
• Act as a connector across teams, ensuring priorities are understood and executed.

Execution & Problem-Solving

• Identify operational bottlenecks and design scalable solutions.
• Take ownership of ad hoc projects critical to Deed’s growth and scaling.
• Ensure smooth daily operations in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Mandatory: Proven experience in a startup environment with exposure to operations, HR, recruitment, and investor reporting.
• 3 - 5 years of professional experience in operations, consulting, venture building, or scaling technology, fintech or proptech startups.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in G-Suite, Excel/Google Sheets, presentations; reporting tool experience is a plus.
• Skilled in preparing investor, board, and leadership-level presentations.
• Exceptional communications in English and preferably in Arabic and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and adaptable under pressure.
• Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Management or Finance; Master’s degree (MBA or similar) preferred.
