Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Structural Draftsman with a minimum of 8+ years of professional experience, preferably within a consultancy environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical drafting skills, a solid understanding of structural systems, and experience working on villa and multi-storey mixed-use developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed structural drawings, layouts, and plans based on engineers’ designs and specifications
• Develop General Arrangement (GA) drawings, reinforcement detailing, fabrication drawings, and shop drawings
• Ensure drawings comply with project requirements, applicable codes, and industry standards
• Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, and MEP teams to resolve design conflicts
• Incorporate comments, markups, and revisions from consultants and project teams
• Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and documentation records
• Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion
• Provide technical support to site teams by clarifying drawings and details
• Assist in preparing bar bending schedules (BBS) and fabrication details
• Ensure drawing quality, accuracy, and compliance with company standards
• Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines

Qualifications & Experience

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Structural Drafting, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in structural drafting
• Proven experience in villa projects and medium- to high-rise mixed-use multi-storey developments
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and construction practices
• Excellent ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and drafting accuracy
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of international building codes and standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects

Additional Skills (Preferred)

• Experience with modeling software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Plant 3D
• Familiarity with clash detection tools such as Navisworks
• Strong engineering background with basic knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems
• Fair understanding of MEP and HVAC systems and components
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• AutoCAD certification is an advantage
