Structural Draughtsman

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Structural Draftsman with a minimum of 6 years of experience in an engineering consultancy to join our team in Dubai. The candidate should have strong knowledge in preparing structural drawings and coordinating with structural engineers and other disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed structural drawings and shop drawings based on design calculations and sketches provided by structural engineers.
• Produce reinforcement detailing for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and structural elements.
• Prepare GA drawings, sections, and detailed drawings for construction.
• Coordinate with architectural and MEP teams to avoid clashes.
• Revise drawings based on engineer comments and project requirements.
• Ensure drawings comply with Dubai Municipality standards and project specifications.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing records.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Drafting.
• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Structural Draftsman in an engineering consultancy.
• Strong experience in reinforcement detailing and structural drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Knowledge of Revit Structure will be an advantage.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• UAE experience is highly preferred.
