Structural Engineer

DRAWLINES ENGINEERING CONSULT is looking for Structural Engineer in Doha, Qatar

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Analysis: Create structural plans, models, and drawings using CAD and STAADPRO software to determine structural requirements.
• Load Calculation: Calculate vertical (gravity) and horizontal (wind, earthquake) loads to ensure structure stability.
• Collaboration: Work with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve design conflicts.
• Material Selection & Budgeting: Select appropriate materials (steel, concrete, wood) and estimate costs and quantities.
• Regulatory Compliance: Obtain building permits and adhere to local construction codes and legal safety regulations. Target Jobs +9

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license.
• Technical Proficiencies: Experience with software such as AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD.Pro.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to apply physics and mathematics principles to real-world structural problems.
• Experience: Proven experience in construction methods, materials, and project management with 5-10 years in the core area
